Background
I am a clinical intern completing my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at National Louis University. I specialize in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, and mood disorders. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), tailoring counseling to meet each client’s individual needs and goals.
I have a strong background supporting children and their families, both as an in-home childcare provider, as well as providing therapy for children with Autism as a Registered Behavior Technician. These roles have strengthened my ability to create supportive environments and approach clients with empathy and understanding.
I am passionate about helping clients of all ages feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and that a strong, positive therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective counseling.
