Grounded in a collaborative and compassionate approach, she support clients in reconnecting with their values, fostering self-awareness, and creating meaningful change.
Background
I am a clinical intern working toward my M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at DePaul University. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Ohio State University. Guided by a deep interest in understanding the complexity of the human experience, I take a collaborative and client-centered approach to therapy. I strive to meet each individual where they are, providing a supportive environment to explore experiences, build insight, and work toward personal growth. I emphasize identifying and building upon each person’s unique strengths to promote resilience and help them achieve their goals.
During my time at The Ohio State University, I worked in the Student Wellness Center, where I developed a passion for supporting others through a holistic lens of wellbeing. In working with college students, I learned the importance of addressing the interconnected aspects of emotional, physical, and social health. This experience continues to inform my work as a counselor-in-training, where I approach therapy with an understanding that each person is multifaceted, with unique experiences that shape their path toward growth and healing.
My background as a Registered Behavior Technician, working closely with children and families, deepened my understanding of the relationship between behavior, environment, and emotion—skills that now enhance my clinical practice. This experience informs a thoughtful and evidence-based approach that balances structure with empathy, allowing me to help clients create meaningful change aligned with their values and individual aspirations.
